I seem to remember reading somewhere that it is possible to set up Avantgo so that channels are saved to an SD Card rather than main memory (changing some registry key...?) Can anyone help?

Check out Philippe Majerus' Registry Tweaks (http://www.phm.lu/PocketPC/RegTweaks/Tweak.asp?ref=6).

If you are not comfortable editing the registry, you can use RegKing (http://www.cewindows.net/applications/regking.htm)...

Thanks very much for all of the above. Is there any way of changing registry keys without having to install a program on my XDA - the reason why I want my Avantgo on an SD Card is because I'm running v. low on main storage...! I imagine that I could install a registry editor and then delete it? Can I install a registry editor to the SD Card? What's a good freeware registry editor?

You can install the editor and uninstall it if you won't be using it again. I think most of the commercially available reg editors have some sort of free trial. Resco is free for 14 days, though hopefully you'll find it so useful you'll pony up the small entry fee for a very useful suite of tools.

It's the PocketPC developers circle of trust. You pay up. They make more cool software. And around and around it goes. :D

Go grab PHM Registry Editor (http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/RegEdit/)...

Yes, you install the Embedded Visual Tools on your PC (free from MS) and it allows access to the PPC registry.
