I have a toshiba e330.

I was wondering if there was anything that I could buy to surf the web and check my emails using my original PC internet connection

I'm afraid there are no SD dial-up modems yet. There are SD WiFi cards coming, so in a few months you would be able to use it wirelessly, but you'll also need a wireless access point in the area where you want to use your Pocket PC.
