I'm looking for a Windows app that will automate as far as possible the publishing of a set of digital photos on a website. I.e. not so much the image editing/cropping etc but more the framework for navigating the images in a certain order, generating thumbnail pages, etc.

Anyone got any recommendations?

(Of course if it also generated a Pocket PC version of the album that would be even better!)

I've used the Windows XP Powertoy (http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/HtmlgenPowertoySetup.exe) and think it's cool, espesially since it's competely free... se an album I created here:

Does it come with XP, or do you have to download it? John Dvorak talked about that app a long time ago, and I was just on MS site looking for it.

BTW, where were those pics taken? Looks like you got some sweet air off that hit!

You really ought to correct your url:

There are literally hundreds of good FREEWARE, SHAREWARE, and COMMERCIAL programs for creating web photo albums.

I personally use Thumbs (http://www.greggman.com/thumbs/index.html) which I thought was a great buy.
The excellent freeware program IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com/) also has a Save HTML function that also does the job.

BOTH are recommended :way to go:
