I am trying to get the data and programs from my 3870 to my 5455. Restore doesn't seem to work, any ideas?

DO NOT try to restore a 3800 backup image over your 5400. If the restore completes, you will screw up your ROM image!!!

the best way to get data over to your 5400 is to copy data from your 3800's synched file folder to your 5400 synched file folder and let ActiveSync copy the data.

As far as your apps go, reinstall them. In the end, you'll be happier.
