Do most of you make your own themes? Or download them?

Never attempted to make my own. There are so many great sites with free ones I simply download.

Make them only if you can't find what you want--creating a theme isn't all that difficult.

Try www.pocketpcthemes.com. They have a great assortment of themes to choose from and download.

If you want a simple Theme Program you can use from your My Pictures files try the MS program "Theme Generator" (http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/pocketpc/downloads/themegenerator.asp[url)

I make my own. I have Dashboard (http://www.snoopsoft.com/dashboard/index.html) installed, so I use SkinMe (http://www.desertware.com/skinme/).

I make the themes I use because I am very anal-retentive about how things look. The two themes in this post (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=90907#90907) are the ones I switch between most frequently. I'm currently using a slightly revised version of the OU theme that's shown.

I use Pocket Theme Manager (http://shop.bvrp.com/english/asp/product_description.asp?id_product=71) from BVRP.

I find a lot of my themes at PocketThemes (http://www.pocketthemes.com). I also make some using the MS Theme Generator v2.

Never tried using theme generator . But I wonder what I would make if I did :?: I usually just download themes from pocketthemes or pocketpcthemes. They have a pretty extensive themes data base :)

There are a lot of nice themes available on Pocketthemes.com, but I made a few of my own as well. I have about a hundred themes loaded in my Pocket PC, three of which are mine, and I always get a warm fuzzy feeling when one of my themes comes up.

I made one that matches the colors of my personal blog - I think that one's my favorite.

I usually download them, and tweak them with Microsoft's default Theme tool.

If I feel like a new theme, I usually download it...

Although, sometimes I create themes of my kids (using MS Theme Generator). They really get a kick out of it!!!

I usually make my own Themes and post them Here (http://www.pocketthemes.com/download.php?query=sslixtis&op=search) at PocketThemes (http://www.pocketthemes.com/index.php). I mostly use/make Animated Themes myself, but I make the Latest Themes (http://www.pocketthemes.com/download.php?op=NewDownloads) section of PocketThemes a daily stop, to see what others have made.

If you are looking for weather related themes then download the trial version of Stocks & Weather Today, Themes Edition. It comes preloaded with well over 100 8O of the best weather related themes from the PocketThemes site. Even if you don't buy the application you still get the themes for free. All the themes are available from PocketThemes (for free) but this saves you the time of sorting through thousands of them and picking the best ones. Someone else has already done it for you :mrgreen:
