Why the programs don't shutdown for real when we press the cross? Why we have to go to settings > Memory and stop all the programs there?

That's how PPC 2002 works. There are tons of freeware apps to give you the ability to close tasks easily.

The one I use is IcBar which skins the whole top bar with the start menu. It's available at http://icbar.ictinus.com/

Check out Pocket Plus at www.spbsoftwarehouse.com - this will turn the "X" into a real close button, plus do quite a few more things.

Doesn't the ICBar have something that shows missed calls?

NOt that I know of, but then again, I don't have PPC phone edition.
