View Full Version : Active Stink - I can't sync.

Got an weird error message stating something about being unable to sync because active sync could not review my previous appointments on my Dell PPC. Decided to soft reset, no luck. Then hard reset and restore. Now active sync begins and stops almost immediately with no error message. Tried everything including downloaded active sync again. Please help. Need my data.

Have you tried deleting the partnership in ActiveSync on the desktop PC?

I have tried twice and even changed the profile name of my Dell but no luck. Any other suggestions?

Very strange. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling ActiveSync, using the latest version up on www.pocketpc.com?

How about if you hard reset and don't restore, as a debugging step?

Review teh WCESMGR.log file for specific messages? If you uninstall and lose the log file's previous entries ... all bets are off.

Also ... is the Outlook PST file okay? Run SCANPST.EXE to check.
