Power issue on new ROM upgraded 3970

Since the 2.01 ROM upgrade, my IPAQ 3970 seems to power on by itself, and not power back down.

Even though I have the power settings to limit the on time to 1 minute while on battery, it won't ever power itself down.

This is a recent change only after performing the last ROM upgrade.

Any support information appreciated.

Make sure you have turned off the Schedule features in ActiveSync. Go to ActiveSync on the Pocket PC, navigate to the Options screen, the Schedule tab, and make sure everything is unchecked.

I had this exact same problem with my 3955 (ROM 1.0). For some unknown reason my unit would continually turn on and then NOT turn off regardless of my time limit on the power settings. Even more bizzare is that after about 2 days of this it stopped malfunctioning. I've not had andy problems for the last few weeks.
