How often do you consider adding new forum categories? I think it could be useful to have a forum called "How-Tos." This could be a place where members post short, simple tutorials (such as my quickie Flash tutorial or this post (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11595&highlight=) on converting Thoughts to .lit format). This would provide a quick-and-easy way to find ideas for how to make your Pocket PC do new things, and would also be a great starting point for newbies, either for browsing or searching.
