need to get a larger capacity card. Will the e335 support the 256 MB or 512 MD SD cards.

If it supports smaller capacity cards I don't see why it won't support the larger capacity ones. But want to be sure before I spend my bucks.

For what it's worth - my e330 does support a 256MB card, so I wouldn't know why an e335 shouldn't. :)

Shouldn't be a problem. I've never heard of any capacity limits related to any PPC that supported SD. There would be a bit of an outcry if that were the case. Certainly there may be a limit to SD itself, but it's far greater than 512MB.

Just watch out the manuf.--Sandisk SD's do not work well with Toshiba's. I have have owned both a Sandisk & a Lexar, and the Lexar was many times faster. I have known others who have had no problems with the Sandisk.

Both of the SanDisk's that I have tried with my PDA worked, but when compared to other storage cards, there were many times slower. As a quick benchmark, I performed a normal back-up first to my CF & then to the SanDisk SD. The backup to the SD was several times slower.

To be fair to Sandisk, CF generally always has better performance than SD, so the comparison isn't exactly fair. I think it's something to count against SD as a format, not against SanDisk. (Although I hear way too many horror stories about their cards.)

Use a sandisk 64mb here. Also have a lexar 64. Haven't noticed any difference in speed but I was not trying so...

But no probs with the sandisk on my e310 for over 6 months.

I concur that the SanDisk SD cards are many times slower than others. I had a SanDisk 256 SD that was dog slow compared to the Lexar and Viking 512 SD's I tried. Due to reliability problems w/ the Lexar, I'm sticking w/ Viking, fast and reliable.
