where can I download tv shows or other movies for the ppc for free. Are there websites with them or do you have to use limewire or kazaa. I don't want to pay anything but would like to do it legally if possible.

i would just download them and re-encode them as necessary.

Ditto. You won't find any legal TV content for download. You'll discover that everything is streaming, and the quality sucks. Get a video capture card and encode it for mpeg-1 like don dre says.

Bonus: get an ATI AIW that comes with GemStar and you wind up with a DVR without the $10 monthly fee.

I have Dish, DVR is FREE! with Tivo you pay..... monthly. I laugh at those on Tivo. :wink:
