Just recently when I plug my 3850 with the CF plus attached into my charger at night (no cradle) it starts charging normally then after a minute or so it stops, both lights go out, and the battery meter says its not been charged, I have to switch off at the plus and wait a minute before switching back on, usually it then charges ok, but occasionally it does it again.
If I don't turn it off and back on again at the socket and leave it when I wake up in the morning the battery still isn't charged, sometimes the battery level is worse than when I started charging it.
I have been having problems with my CFs battery, but HP says that the time it takes to discharge is normal, although it only last about for 25% compared to the main battery. I almost never remove the CF plus, only for reading at night, could the broken battery have something to do with it.
Does it matter if I leave the charger plugged in when I'm not using it, or should unplug it after every charge?
