More often than not, it seems to me that those people that do set themselves goals or targets for themselves end up disappointed. When people set goals for themselves it normally tends to be 'in their heads'. Documentation doesn't normally enter into the equation when it comes to personal 'targets'. We are far more pre-occupied with documenting what we've already achieved whether it be for our CV, for a college prospectus, or a companies annual report. When company's do decide to document their goals (at least to the public), the detail generally degenerates into a rather fuzzy corporate 'mission statement'. When people communicate their personal goals you tend to hear statements such as 'I want to be a millionaire' or 'I want to have a large family'. It is perhaps this lack of definition or planning which leads to so many of peoples goals never being achieved. This is where AchieveIT! from PocketPCAddict aims to help sort things out and help you 'realize your goals utilizing skills and procedures based on 15 years of goal setting research'."
