Is there anyone that works at CompUSA (preferably Schaumburg, IL area) or Best Buy that has the 5455 in stock and could check if they have recieved any 255's yet. I understand that you cannot physically open the boxes to power the unit on and check but I was thinking maybe the mark the boxes differently or maybe you need to put a new unit on the display rack

Isn't it jumping the gun a bit to expect units with the 255 on the shelves already?

Wouldn't there be a TON of inventory with the 250 still to sell off?

Is it known for certain that HP is going to slap the 255 in the current 5450 or is this just all guessing?

The view I took from reading Ed's article over at Brighthand is that the new chips could/would just show up in the new units like some Axim purchasers have reported. We need someone who works at one of the retailers to check out new shipments of these units in order to verify.

I hear rumors that HP will NOT include the new processor (PXA255) in the current iPAQ H5450 in the near future they still have large stock of previous model, it is expected to have a new line of Pocket PC carrying the new processor. :!:
