transfering contacts to outlook

i just bought a new computer,and i need help on how to transfer my contact on the ppc to outlook on the desktop.i sync,but contact,task,or calendar dont sync

Just making sure - you have checked the boxes next to each item under ActiveSync options for what you want to sync, right?

it does not give me the option to check.i have the contact,calendar and task with out the square to check. and what i need to do is send about 1000 contacts that i have on the ppc to outlook
