I tried to install WaterWorks on my h1910, but I get an error message that a file called gx.dll is missing or incorrect. I tried to download it from Microsoft, but the download site is not up anymore.
Where can I get it, and is it compatible with PPC 2002??

Thanks for any info!

I cannabolized my gx.dll and ZIPed it:

BTW: This file goes in the 'Windows' folder, and is normally hidden.

u do not need it.. u already have it in your ppc..

gx.dll is a graphics library part of GAPI (games application programming interface)

from Microsoft, msndn:

"The GAPI library consists of three files:

GX.H
GX.LIB
GX.DLL
The GX.DLL lives in the Windows/ directory and, as mentioned, is typically included in the ROM of most Pocket PC devices. The current version is 1.2, but older devices will have 1.0. You might need to include the latest DLL with your distributions to be sure your code is using the version you think it is. "

what this means is when u install a program, usually GX.DLL might come with it, thus it might install over the one u have, but it prompts before it does... dont let it install over it as you might be installing an older version..

Or, as I've said in another thread, it's possible that uninstalling an old game deleted the built-in GX.DLL and related files.
