You know, I really had to think about that! I don't think it's really a concious decision :) But I'm pretty sure I turn on first :)

You should always turn on before you grab your stylus. :hippy:

Huh... I was sitting here trying to think of how I do it, but I honestly not sure. I was going to experiment and see, but now that I'm thinking about it, I can't turn it on first or grab my stylus first withought thinking about it!!! I can't figure out which is more natural! Ahhh! :!:

I used one of the extra stylus from my old iPAQ 3765 to make this
http://mysite.verizon.net/res02afy/stylus.jpg
I wear it all the time so I usually have my stylus in my hand before turning on my 3955. I leave the other stylus in it at all times.

I've only stabbed myself once, and it wasn't too bad.

This reminds me of a brief scene from an episode in the first season of Babylon 5. Commander Sinclair and Michael Garibaldi were alone on a long, boring trip somewhere in a small ship. (Sorry, I can't be more specific; it's been a few years since I saw this episode.) To make conversation, Garibaldi asks, "You're getting ready to go to work. You pull on your pants. Do you fasten and then zip or zip and then fasten?" (Referring to pants.) It was an amusing scene. :) I just searched and found a wave file here (http://drgnslyr2.tripod.com/b5wavs/fastnzip.wav). (You must right-click and choose save as due to Tripod restrictions.) It doesn't have the whole scene, unfortunately, but you get the idea.

I was just thinking of that scene.... ;)

I pull out my stylus first so I can poke at the power button using it. I have a case where its kinda hard to get to the power.

P.S. You know... B5 is out on dvd.... :)

Yes - my husband and I have season 1. I prefer 2-4.5 myself. Sheridan rules, Sinclair drools. ;)

Didn't watch most of season 5 - I couldn't take it.

Usually power button on first. But oftentimes, I turn it on and grab the stylus out in one stylish motion. Try and do that, iPaq users!

Yes, I can press down on my stylus and remove it while pressing the ON button at the same time, but I don't use that stylus (see my other post).

Bringing the thread back "on topic", I vary. That is, you missed a poll option.

I pre-ordered season one the day it was announced, and did the same with season 2. I wish there wasn't such a long wait between the releases, but the wait is worth it.

I certianly hope you saw the series finale, Kati... sounds sappy and very un-guy-like, but it's one of the few shows on television that actually moved me to a tear or two. It was pretty powerful ending to the story.

Sorry; the thread drifts further off-topic... :)

My question is, how often do you turn on your unit only to discover that you left your stylus someplace else?

I may have to look into Kaber's method.

Grab stylus to poke power button.
