Well I know the Axim has an app that makes up a "Home" screen with big icons. I've never used Palm so I couldn't say how close it was to that. Personally I don't really like it but that's just me :) I don't know if other models have anything similar.

The closest thing I could find is this theme (http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=palm&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=14). You would also need DashBoard (http://www.snoopsoft.com/dashboard/index.html) for it to work...

Do a Search for nakka tdlauncher.
I don't know if it's exactly what your looking for, but it might be close, plus it's free.
It allows you to put icons on the today screen. The default size is quite small, but it allows you to set the size of the icons. This might be right for you if you want a lot of icons in one place but only have a need for a few of the most frequently used ones to be larger.

Wisbar is similar to objectbar for the desktop. I dont know of any palm skins but wisbar skins are pretty easy to make. Satrdock, the creators of Windowblinds and Objectbar, have a program out called PocketBlinds. It is obviously not as featured as objectbar but it does work
