I purchased this game from Handango a few days ago, despite its hefty price tag. I installed it to my storage card (SD 128MB) that had 76MB free. The game started up and asked me for the registration code, which I put in and the game went to a 'Loading' screen and then just quit back to the Today screen. I tried to run it again (by tapping on the icon) and it starts with a swirling logo that says "Ziosoft Inc." and simply quits back to the Today screen. I e-mailed them (the 3rd e-mail got a response) and they told me it should work fine from a SD card or a CF card if I didn't want to put it in the internal memory, but at 10MB that's alot to put into the internal memory which I have currently 21MB internal program memory free and 19MB internal storage memory free. In the e-mail they sent to me they even sent a new download of the program with a new registration key with the normal instructions of to uninstall/delete the current game and install this new one, which I did but I installed it to internal memory this time and started the game and it worked fine, no problems. Then I uninstalled/deleted it from my HP5455 and re-installed it to my storage card (SD) and it doesn't work again just like before.

Has anyone else had any luck with getting this game installed and playing fine on a storage card?? and if so did you do anything than just a normal instal?? I just don't want to have to send 3 more e-mails and get a similar answer or the standard 'maybe it won't work on a storage card with Your device.

Instead of the default folder, have you tried a custom folder on the SD card?
Try creating different folder first and then installing into that new folder.
If it works on the units main memory and the manufacture say it works on external memory then it should work on yours too.

Good Luck

I recieved a 2nd e-mail from Ziosoft today stating that there is a known problem installing to SD cards that they are working on a fix for but it should work fine with CF cards or internal memory. I uninstalled and deleted the game and then installed it to my CF card and it works fine. I like using the SD card because then I can take my IPAQ along naked in the case but since my CF exp+ has a cover I'll live with it.

Well I played it for about an hour and can't really say I'm happy with spending the money on it. I had an e-coupon for Handango for 20% off and still I got cheated. The game is a decent beat em' up but nothing more. You simply run around a level and have to kill so many bad guys before time runs out (yes I said the levels are timed). The controls are pretty responsive, a little too much even, and I had to adjust the sensitivity of my d-pad just for this game to make it playable. The graphics are good, not EverquetPPC good but good. I would wait for it to come down in price to the $12-$18 range, really not worth $29. IMHO.
