FYI: On 3/6/03 a new PPC software update available via www.cf2031.com.
The update will give you program version 1.0.6080 (up from 1.0.5xxx)
- it seems to have fixed some bugs in the Phone Book and improved/added an on screen incoming call notification and the ringer actually comes through the device speaker now - at least it does for me.:rolleyes:
Yes, it did fix problems with the Phone Book program not picking up the phone numbers when viewing by letters after the letter "B."
...before the fix, when I would pull up the Phone Book and view "ALL" every contact and phone number would display properly. But when I would go to view under a specific letter, only the names would show up - no numbers would display, and I found that under the letters "A" and "B" they listed properly. Any letter after "B" would only display names.
Also before the fix, I'd rarely hear the ringer unless I had the earpiece on or a call was coming in on call waiting. Now I get an on-screen notification and the ringer comes over the device's speaker.
