Help - Dell & WiFi

I have the Dell Axim & a D-Link DCF-650W. I installed the drivers (I downloaded the latest from dlink.com) & inserted the CF wifi card. The two lights on the top blink for 1-2 seconds & then go off. The configuration screen does not come up. I don't think the card is getting power from the handheld. Any ideas?

Either bad card or a bad Axim-

I use the same setup without a problem. Try the card in another PDA if you can. If it does the same thing, it is the card. If not, it is probably the PDA. Try another card if possible in your PDA to see if it works.

I figured it out.... The drivers must be installed in main memory. I was installing them to the built in storage memory & apparently they weren't being discovered. Works great now!

If you loaded the driver that came with the card, I would suggest getting the updated driver for the Prism chipset. You should be able to search the forums for a link.
