Some time ago I've lost my original charger (which connects through the craddle) and used the Wireless Station (GSM/GPRS module) to charge my PDA - it has an alternative charger socket with the same parameters - 5V, 12A.
But by accident I plugged in the wrong 12 V charger and when I replaced it with the right one the GSM adapter finished charging OK (the icon on the PDA screen stopped flashing and the led on the GSM module become green) but the PDA itself does not charge anymore.
Unfortunately I have no way to check it with the original craddle charger, but what I would like to ask if anyone has an idea of what cold happen?.. Is it the PDA battery controller which is dead or there is something happened to the GSM adapter? Does it have any overcurrent protection or the power from the charger goes directly to PDA?..
