its been like a year since i tried looking for a snes emulator, the last one i tried was from pocketsnes.com whos site doesnt work anymore. (i remember that the emulator they had was super slow) does anyone know of any good SNES or GameBoy Advanced Emulators that work well.

Wasn't Pocketsnes.com Bleeding Edge? If so, they simply changed url.

The simple answer is none of them work at the level you want, and none of them will for awhile yet. Bleeding Edge however, isn't so bad. Games like Donkey Kong Country 1 and R-Type are almost playable, but FPS ranges from 5 to 15. GBA still needs more time. VBAdvanceCE isn't half bad, so far as GBA emulators go. And it's free. http://imasy.or.jp/~ngs/emu/

YAME http://www.pocketgamer.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=233&highlight=YAME

Plays NES, GB, and GBC at full speeds and it's free. Also check out PocketNester for NES, CEGG for GameGear, Pocket VCS for Atari, and CastCE for Atari SI. Genesis only has Pocket Genesis, which is very flaky. PocketC64 is nice for C64... but it's not free. PocketWS plays WonderSwan, which I've yet to try. PocketMSX plays MSX, which I could really care less about. There's a few more threads around here with more suggestions.

Oh come on man, you dont like the MSX?
It housed some of Konami´s greatest games.
Stuff like the original Metal Gear(long before it went to the NES and better to boot) Castlevania etcetera.
As wel as games from some of the other big Japanese software houses.

Just doesn't do it for me. At the time, maybe it was great. But I'd rather play Metal Gear and Castlevania on PocketNester.

YAME also plays PCEngine and believe it or not -- SNES too! I ran Chrono Trigger on it with no probs (speed aside).

The current state of SNES emulation makes the PPC a fine gaming machine for RPG's and other "slow" games -- but action games are a big "no way."

For now.
