:?: Has anyone come across a desktop application that can do the following? I want to synchronize individual or (*.txt) files from one or more local or network directories into one directory and then sync the down to the PDA.

To put it slightly differently, I want to take one file form directory source A, all of directory source B and *.doc from directory source C and move them down to my target PDA without having to manually drag and drop the files everytime I update one. If this can be done using some combo of activesync file sync and something else I'm open to that also. This program should scan or monitor the individual source locations for changes and only sync them to the target at that time. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Greg

You could use CWSync (http://www.cassioware.com/products/products_CWS.asp) or Mightysync (http://www.mydocsunlimited.com/html/mightysync.html).

I personelly use XXCopy (http://www.xxcopy.com) to perform a similar type of file sync/copy from a network drive to a local drive and then launch mightysync when done to sync to my SD Card. You can launch any program when the PPC Connects be adding it to the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services\AutoStartOnConnect.
