Why doesnt me email show attachements anymore

As far as I know nothing has changed in my settings, but recently I have been completly unable to download attachments?

The stapl alwayus shows on the list but whenever i go in there is no sign of it!!

Has anyone else suffered this?

This used to happen to me quite often. I was never certain what caused it, but believe it was either lack of memory on my PDA (most likely cause) or I had done a softboot at some time or another and reset my settings to the original email configuration for attachments.
