I REALLY want 802.11 on my PPC. Unfortunately CF isn't an option. Only SD. So i'm limited so far to waiting until next month (hopefully) at which time SyChip is supposedly going to be releasing their SD 802.11 adapter.

In the mean time, I was wondering if there were any SD cards that allow PCMCIA cards to interface with the PPC. I know certain other PPC models have this capability but i'm not sure if it is possible through a Secure Digital card.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

uh... can you tell me what PPC do you use? because if you use ipaq, you can just buy the expantion sleeve man. if not, you have to confirm that your device support SDIO, otherwise it will be useless to use the sd Wi-fi expantion anyway.

Yeah mine does support SDIO. It's a Toshiba e310, and i've already verified that. =)

I'm with ya cyko. Kinda wishing I'd waited and got something different but I got a great deal on mine and my work paid for it. Just waiting for that SD wifi and hoping it won't cost an arm and a leg.

Speaking of... anyone know what the cost will be? Approx?

Yeah, the price range is supposed to be between $99 and $129. Hope it's closer to the $99. =)

Cool! 8) Right in my price range. Was hoping for under $120 and $99 is even better. :D
