yet another ActiveSync problem

hi all! I'm new to PPC
Like to know things
please help:

My Ipaq can't connect to PC. :(

But it can in other computer.

When I plug the USB HotSync into my PPC and PC it shows an icon on my PPC bottom right screen (i know that means connected) but not very long (in 2 seconds i think), it disconnected.
WHY????!!! :?:

FYI my PC spec is Athlon XP :!:

Try unplugging other nonessential USB devices. Make sure you're plugging the Pocket PC directly into the mainboard. And, lastly, download the latest version of ActiveSync from pocketpc.com and see if that makes a difference.

Is there a way to reset Active sync?

I accidentally erase a destination folder in PPC while the active sync is not finish transfering the file. I try to resolve it to no avail, had to reboot desktop and it seems to resolve. But ever since then everytime I copy/move files from desktop to PPC, it often freezes the the iPAQ.
