I'd been looking for some time now for a GPS installation for my e330.
So far I've found the Pharos iGPS-180 kit which comes with a automative power adapter, an (active) antenna and Ostia Navigator Software.

From everything I read so far, the product looks great regarding reliability and signal acquiring time. BUT I'd like to use my GPS out of my car (biking, hiking,...), and the GPS would not work because it would not be connected to the 12V cigarette lighter ; I guess that the power that comes from the e330 is not enough.
Pharos suggests another mobile alternative with the iGPS-CF receiver for e740 only (throught CF port), but I've not found anything for SD port. http://www.pharosgps.com/products/toshiba/PF022.htm (http://url)
A solution would be to have a Bluetooth SD and a Bluetooth GPS, but it's an expensive option.

Is there a way to connect a normal GPS to the e330 ? Any other idea ?
THANK YOU for ANY HELP !

Apparently very few people got concerned by my topic, or did not have any answer.
I eventually bought a i-GPS180 kit, installed it yesterday. After all my search, it turned to be the only GPS available on the market for e330.

I works good so far, it takes time to get the sattelite (1 mn) but having a voice to guide you is great ! I can't write too much feed back today, I have not used this GPS extensively so far.

I'll manage to make a "mobile" version of this GPS by building a battery unit, just as advertised on
