It would be useful if someone could show me where to find statistics about it.

That's what I'm hoping, it would be pretty neat :)

As for your original question, I don't think there are any real figures available since, last I checked, no one was really even keeping track of direct sales (which is how many iPaqs and Dells are being sold). I'm sure Microsoft has an internal number but doesn't want to release it for fear of making the platform look like it isn't be adopted quickly enough (which Palm would surely spin it as even if that wasn't true)

Well, the memberlist (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/memberlist.php) says there are 7033 registered users so that gives you at least some idea.
