Ok so this is my first post here and am getting a Dell Axim X5 400mhz model from "Dell Home Systems on eBay"

I don't know if this is real but on the checkout page that you are asked to go to when you win the auction, the page asks if you want to add additional items. One of these items is the TrueMobile 802.11 Compact Flash expansion card that I believe is also being sold on the Dell Small Business site for $99.99.

Well it's listed for $19.99 and when I add it, it comes out as $19.99 on my checkout page.

So I don't know, but I'm just telling you guys if any of you would want to take the risk in getting a really cheap Wifi card.

I would go for it but my gf is limiting my spending amount just a nil over $400 so if this baby isn't $19, she's gonna kill me. =)

Sorry, I guess I don't read well. Is this a reburbished site or used?

No that's from the eBay Dell. When you bid on the item and win, Dell sends an e-mail to checkout on the url they give you. It's just strange to me to see the wifi card listed at $19.99 instead of $99.99 on that page. I tested it out during checkout and it came out to be $377 total.

That's $349.99 for the axim, $19.99 for the wifi, and $8 ground shipping.
Wow this would've been great with the $50 rebate but too bad I missed out on that.

oh and according to the FAQ from the auction, the items are new and come direct from Dell, so I guess I'll have to wait a couple weeks until I get the item just like all you other buyers that are waiting.

What's the link to the Dell eBay page where you got the $19.99 802.11b adapter?

It's the page shown only during checkout =T

I hope you realize that there is no way you will get the card for $19.99, right? They will deny shipment.

I hope it works out for you.

Be sure to let us know if you do get it and if it actually is 19.99. If so, I'll be placing my order... yes...
