Sometime in the next few days a new flash ROM update will be available with the following major changes included:
The updated Flash Image integrates the following changes:
- Basic support for headphone remote control buttons included
- Fixed problem of application button 1 &2 not working when docking 2nd battery
- Fixed IrDA cannot be used by some applications after open/close port
- 00xFF byte is added at the end of the transmission of data packets
- Fixed the problem of FileCrypto and some CF cards causing system lockup
- Added improved interface support for Connect2Air GPRS CF card
Pocket Plugfree version 1.2
- Improved operability with other Bluetooth devices
The update will be downloadable from here.

This second update will incorporate all the changes made in the first update (released last year) so you do not need to have installed that update first. For new Pocket Loox owners - and as a reminder to others these are the changes the first ROM update brought:

Microsoft End User Update 3 with the following improvements
- Media Player v. 8.5; better performance and new skin
- New Today theme and branding
- Improved system performance through relaxation in file system heap compact
- Tab key support in Pocket Internet Explorer
Other improvements
- Optimised DLL resource utilisation
- Incorporated Fix instruction for "Pocket Internet Explorer cannot surf to some WEB sites" bug
- Renamed 'Storage Card' to 'CF-Card' within FileExplorer
- Renamed 'Storage Card' to 'SD-MMCard' within FileExplorer
- Fixed Serial connection error with low baud rate
- Improved button driver
- Display flicker fixed

Your current ROM version can be found under under Settings > System Information > Version and consists of P22452-P929-Vxxx. The original ROM will end in V10x. The first update was V12x. The new update will be V15x.
