Dear Member,
I'ld know if someone has some information about how use Nokia6310i with PocketPC2002...
I've downloaded a pdf document from Nokia site about how configure Pocket PC to use Nokia 6310i...
This is the URL
http://www.nokia.com/cda1/0,1080,1528,00.html
I've followed all steps but something doesn't work properly because I can't make a call using Nokia....

Could some help me to solve this issue ?

Thanks

With regards,

Paolo

exactly what error are you getting? I am asuming that you are using the Nokia as an IRDA modem, so check and make sure that the IR ports on both the 3850 and 6310i are active and pointing at each other when you make the call.

Had similar problem with both toshiba e740 and ipaq 3970. Solution: get upgrade of Nokia firmware (Nokia store). Older versions of formware have bluetooth bug. Since upgrade connection without any problems. :D

Yes,
I'mworking using Irda connection, I didn't receive an error message simply Nokia doesn't make the call...

I'll write to Nokia support to have more information

If I try a Irda connection between Nokia and iPAQ (from Start->Programs-Irda Connetions)
iPAQ recognizes that there is a Nokia 6310i but this stops all, so it seems that they can't dialog properly

Any suggestions will be appreciated

Thanks to all

Paolo

Dear,
I'ld to know if someone is working iPAQ 3850 with NOKIA 6310i throught Irda port .

If yes, could you tell which NOKIA firmware ?
You've to digit *#0000# on NOKIA to know your firmware, mine is V 5.10 11-09-02 NPL-1 (c) NMP.

I'ld like use my iPAQ/NOKIA 6310i to connecting to the WEB/OFFICE using Irda port...

Thanks in advance for your help

With regards,

Paolo
