Best way to tweak registry

Hi

Anyone recommend some freeware to tweak my registry - I have upgraded the ROM on my iPAQ 3850 from 1.15 to 1.20 and there are dead icons in my program folder for programs I have not restored. I assume the only way of removing them is by tweaking the registry.

I suspect your assumption is wrong. Open your \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder and see if there are .lnk files for those programs. If there are, all you have to do is delete them.
