Ok so I downloaded an ogg ripper called tkcoggripper. I put in my cd and choose "rip the rom". It appears as though it goes through the ripping process showing me percentage complete and everything. When I go and check the directory, the (in this case Fleetwood Mac) directory is there but nothing's in the directory. When I do a search for a title or a ogg file, I get nothing. What am I doing wrong? This is my first time working with ogg files. I also downloaded an mp3 to ogg drag and drop transfer program but when I drag an mp3 to it, nothing happens? Am I really this dumb?

Never heard of the ripper you're using. The two most popular freeware rippers I hear about are CDex and dBPowerAMP Music Converter (dMC). I use the latter and you can find it here (http://www.dbpoweramp.com). It requires an add-in module for ogg support, but that's free also and the entire process is rather straightforward.
