Several years ago (as a proud user of a HP 620 LX handheld PC), I would get involved in endless debates on “why Palm-size PCs are on a dead-end track”. Likewise, until recently, I was convinced that devices combining a Pocket PC with a mobile phone could not compete with Compaq iPAQ with Ericsson T68 and will be a total failure. In other words, I am no visionary :-) However, when I accidentally became an owner of an XDA (probably a testing model or an OEM product intended for operators), it took just a few days for iPAQ and the mobile phone to end up in a drawer and I started looking for a nice case for my new XDA..."<br /><br />This is perhaps the most thorough review of the XDA that I've ever seen, so if you're sitting on the fence about whether or not to get one, give this a read.

Great review, picked up the T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition last Sunday (01/12/03) but a friend of mine (Merlin) sure was trying hard to get me to go for the Compaq iPAQ 5450 - Ericsson T68 combo though. It was tuff besides I already have three iPAQs anyway.
