ActiveSync 3.6

I have an iPAQ h3970. No problems with ActiveSync 3.5 that came with the CD. I recently upgraded to 3.6 and found that all sorts of weird errors started coming out. Most notably, I could no longer sync via IR. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had that problem when upgrading fra 3.0 to 3.1 and then when upgrading to 3.5, but not this time...

Have you tried to delete the partnership and set it up again?

That usually does the trick for me :-)

Thanks for the insight. I've downgraded back to 3.5 and I'm to lazy to upgrade again. What are the advantages of 3.6 over 3.5 anyway? :)

Extremely minor, if 3.5 is working perfectly for you. It's basically 3.5 build 12007 with a couple of fixes and support for a few more devices, AFAIK.

The main thing is support for SmartPhone 2002... if you don't have one (anyone who has?), stay tuned with your 3.5 :-)

i use the activesynch 3.6 to sync my ipaq, but so far no problem....i guess i just lucky then :roll:
