e330 "today screen" problem

hello all, i've just got a toshiba e330, everything is great, but for some reason, when i make my daily appointments, they don't show up on the "today screen", the calendar is there, but it says, "NO APPOINTMENTS", yet, when i tap it and go in, i see 2 appointments, has anyone else had this problem?
