auto run feature

Hi all, Im new to the site and think its great here! My first post here, and I was asking if anyone knew what the auto-run feature did on ipaq's.

I think that allows you to autorun programs on CF cards when you insert it. Hardly anyone distributes apps that way. WOuld be more applicable in an enterprise setting where the IT department would just keep inserting CF cards to autorun an install program.
