(It uses flocking behavior AI). So every game will play slightly differently, as your enemies adapt to your actions, providing many hours of replay entertainment. In a sense, its like the idea of AI Bots in all the modern first person shoot-em-ups, but in this case, its a space arcade game."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/ARM3DSFP-Pic1.jpg" />

The graphics remind me of the first space game to really show off Direct3D on the PC - Incoming by Rage. The graphics and gameplay are smooth, but without up/down movement, it is still a 2d on a 3d playing field and can get repetitive. Still, a good game - especially to show off your Pocket PC to Palm friends.

Sorry I 'm at it again.
There's 3 different types of chip in pocket pc's

I can't play that game on my MIPS.
Symbian game developers must be quietly chuckling to themselves.

This belongs definitly to some of the best 2d soft-scrolling demos I've seen on a ppc so far.
But why is it titled "3d Star Fighter Pilot"? 8O
This would imply that there are plans to develop it further to once become a 3d game.

Just some thoughts.

Perhaps it's called "3D Star Fighter Pilot" because it uses a 3D engine and renders polygons and 3D effects. I don't think you'd have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.

There is a PalmOS version of the game. The gameplay should be identical, but the PPC version is naturally better in a graphical point of view. :)
