I have a IPAQ3850

I get the message:

X (Big X with red bottom)

"Windows Media Player cannot find the file. You may not be connected to the network, the file may have moved, or you may have entered an incorrect file name or path.

When I click an MP3 file in the File Explorer.
The file is stored in My documents\Music.

It have been working before, but I cant seem to get it to work with any MP3 file now, no matter what bitrate I choose.
The MP3 files are perfectly valid under windows.

I have copied them to the devices using the explore button in the ActiveSync application.
I can copy the file from different locations on the device, but as soon as I click it, I get the above message.

I can still open any other documents, or voice memos.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with my toshiba e310. But the upgrade to EUU3 (which includes WMP 8.5) solved the problem. Now, they all play fine on my Toshiba

Hoped that solved your problem,

Herbert

It's the End User Upgrade 3. Few improvements, but WMP 8.5 certainly the biggest. You can download it at http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/handheldiPAQ/us/download/16579.html

Again, hope to have solved your problem,

Herbert
