How is the screen quality of h5450 compare to older iPAQ or anyother handheld? Anybody has picture? (or comment)

Slightly better than the 3955. Substantially better than the 3800 and down.

Just upgraded from 3835 to 3955, amazing screen improvement. Can you give a verbal impression of the 5400 screen advances from the 3900 series? Just curious how the screen quality compares.

It really is only slightly brighter than the 3900 series. Side by side, the changes to me are negligible. I do however miss my 3800 screen. With that one, you couldnt see what was on your screen when looking from the side. Great for playing Monopoly in meetings.

That's true! :) Reflective screens are not all that bad.

Still, if it's that much of a problem, you can get a polarizing filter. ttools made one for Palms (http://www.ttools.com/product_guide.html), I don't know if they're on the market for PPC's, but theoretically you could cut a piece of a regular polarizing material. Don't know how well it would work with a stylus though.
