keeping the screen lit while in cradle

I apologize if I am missing the obvious, but I have searched several places including the manual, these forums and Google's newsgroup listings, and I have yet to find out how I can keep the Axim screen lit all the time while it is in the cradle.

Under the screen brightness settings there is an option to "Dim if device is idle for more than...." for external power. But even if I leave this checkmark blank, the Axim screen still dims after a few minutes.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Is it going dim or actually turning off? If it is going dim you went to the right place, if it is actully turning off you need to ensure that the check box under Settings>Power>Control> On External Turn off if not used for... Is unchecked.

Thanks - the screen now stays lit on the Axim.

Now if I could only figure out why the same settings don't work on my Toshiba e310, but that's another forum.
