hmmm.... see the new bluetooth manager provides a lan profile. Does anyone know if this will be made available for the 3970?

It has to be fully compatible as the Bluetooth hardware has not changed..... or has it?

Why would HP want to make it available for earlier devices? The new software is a selling point to upgrade. :-)

That said, I'd certainly like it for my 3870, as long as it was a ROM update. I don't know about the LAN profile, but the Headset profile would be nice.

One can only hope that hp includes the new version of the Bluetooth manager in the next ROM update... My 3975 is getting rather jealous...
