I installed ActiveSync 3.5 first, then plugged in the cradle. Then I restarted the computer and put the axim in the cradle. When the computer boots up, the "hardware notice" popped up and said "new hardware device installed" and it installed some driver by itself. When I clicked the activesync program, everytime I try to click "Get Connected", it checks for ports (COM1, COM2. usb) and it returns with "No devices found". Does anyone know why this won't work?
Also, when I plug any USB devices into the computer while the Windows XP is running, the computer would freeze. But when I reboot the computer, the devices would work normally(Not the AXIM though). When I had Win98, they can be plugged in and worked, so I am thinking it could be some drivers problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?
