T-Mobile Initial Setup

First off - thanks for all the advice in this group.

I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to sum up the recommendations for a new t-mobile user. It sounds like people are best to remove the t-mobile specific software. Is that true and, if so, what specific apps? Are there other things to make an initial experience better.

If there is already a cheat sheet - sorry and where would it be?

so, i too just got a t-mobile ppcpe

i actually havent had any problems with the t-mobile software like lockups and such so ive just kept running it.
