http://www.madebywhitney.com/products/whitneynew/pocketpcthoughts.htm

If you've got an iPAQ, and want to add a CF sleeve without much bulk, this product is a great way to go. Our own Ed Hansberry reviewed the black leather version several months ago, and he gave it two thumbs up. The price has dropped by $10 to $79, but Thoughts readers still get the special price of $69 by following the above link.

Oooh I wish I'd-a waited a month so I could get the brown one. I also wish I'd found this site earlier, I missed out on the $10 thing.

I do love mine though, great Geek-chic :silly:

That's awesome. Looks really classy, too. I'm just drooling over the idea of a 5450 with a Krusell/Whitney sleeve:

- 802.11b
- Bluetooth
- TV remote IR
- SD slot
- CF slot

This is not helping my determination to buy less electronic gadgets this holiday season.

Since HP says the 5450 works with iPAQ sleeves, the answer should be "yes" - although I'd confirm with Whitney first.

Actually, Jason, I'd doubt it. Not that the case wouldn't work electrically, but the cutouts won't line up with the 5450 -- the display is higher up due to the biometric reader.

We'll have to wait for a new version for the 5xxx series.

There are issues with other accessories as well. The PDA Motion people told me that the SS5 will not work with the new 5000 series iPAQs due to the placement of the tiny arms at the top of it.
