Can anyone clue me in to any good App launchers ala SilverScreen in the Palm world? Thanks.

When I first moved over from the Palm world, I found Pocket Launcher to be the closest thing to the Palm App launcher.

Now I mainly use a Today screen launcher for quick launching apps. I am currently using Rhino Launcher which provides a customizable today launcher that offers groups (categories) that are accessible using a screen tap.

tdLaunch is excellent as well as Scott's Launcher. Here's the links.

I personally use Dashboard form www.snoopsoft.com which is a Today replacement and includes Agenda, Mail, Tasks, Launcher, and My Dash pages. www.snoopsoft.com

another vote for scott's launcher. it was a bit confusing at first to get set up, but now i realize that i don't even use my start menu or programs screen at all. it's amazing. once you can get it configured right, it works like a charm.

I use Pocket Facelift (http://www.novosec.com/pocketpc/). It was originally intended for PPC2000, to allow them to use themes, but it comes with a very good today screen app launcher, a task swithcher, and cascading start menu.

On PPC2002 I just turn off all the skinning options, and make use of the three features above. Cascading start menu (multi level, with drag and drop) is fantastic.

I was using tdlaunch and I really liked it, but somebody took it to the next level with CLaunch. It is still free, and you can get it here (http://pachome1.pacific.net.sg/~welic/claunch.html)
