:D

According to an ad-email sent to me by Dell, in addition to the $50 rebate Dell will discount the X5 an additional 10% if you order online and add the following discount code:

Enter coupon code 1643920D57BD at checkout.

Online Only! Expires 11/24/02.

What the?! Can anyone confirm this? That's like $35, unless my math has failed me completely! I'd almost be willing to call Dell back, cancle, and reorder for $35. Dang it! 8O

(quoted this here because the Dell thread seems to have overflown)

Well, I also received an e-mail for 10% off the Dell Axim X5, however it was a different code and expired a day later. The discount code was for either model. So, the adjusted prices were $265 and $175 after discount AND rebate.

If anyone has a code, and is not going to use it, I would appreciate if you could send one to me, or post it here if you like.

I just orderd my Dell, I ended up calling and asking for the 10% off, which they gave me with little trouble, ship date on or before 12/16.

I bought the cheaper one, I like to upgrade PDAs every year or so, so I figured I should go cheap.

I called and they wouldn't give me one. I get the emails but don't remember seeing the coupon.
They said I had to have the coupon.

Now, they did verify that was a previous online customer, maybe thats the difference?

When I got the discount they did verify my online purchase of my desktop.
