Funnysnake has released their TodayPhone add-in, which makes it easier to view information about all your recent incoming, outgoing and missed calls.

By tapping on the Today screen icon, you can quickly view the name and phone number of the caller (or callee) and the date and time of the call. I've loaded this onto my new Phone Edition (yeehaw!) and like it. There's a free 7-day demo available, and for $6.99 you can get the full version.

Damn I want a pocketpc phone edition SO BAD. This is a GREAT piece of software.

Why can't HP release a GSM enabled iPaq before christmas! All reports seem to point otherwise, and I am desperate for a phone edition pocketpc which can use all my iPaq accesories.

Of the pocket pc phone edition out there, none really comply to what I want out of a pocket pc...

Damn I want a pocketpc phone edition SO BAD. I've owned my xda for around a month now, and I still can't get over just how cool a device it is - it's sheer class. Erm... does that make you feel any better? ;)

One reason: I am tired of having a 32Mb device. I don't want to buy another one with that quantity of built-in memory.

I am even tempted to skip this generation, stay with my current iPaq (first gen) and phone and wait till we get new OS, 128Mb RAM, GSM and wireless all in one. I don't have that much money to spare. If I buy now, probably 6 monthes down the road if such a device comes out, I wont be able to buy.

Is it just me or can anyone else read the phone #'s on the image?

Sorry, just found that amusing....

I can read them just fine.
Actually, they're deliberately blurred because they're probably live phone numbers.

"I am tired of having a 32Mb device. I don't want to buy another one with that quantity of built-in memory. "

Pocketpctechs can upgrade the unit to 64 or 128 if you're really looking for an excuse to buy one ;) That's what I did.

That said, the unit you *really* seem to want is the upcoming iPaq 5xxx which will have GSM/GPRS built in. While the 5400 only comes with 64, and the GSM/GPRS unit also may, my bet is that ppctechs will offer an upgrade for those units too. Latest rumors I guess put the unit in Q1 03.
