New Rom from Toshiba

I just read that toshiba has posted the new Rom, I downloaded it... but I cant install it...
soo besides posting the news I would like too know if its possible to flash my e740 with the old kernel with the same process of the new one...

If you're talking about the e740 EUU3 update, that's not news; it was on the home page a couple of days ago. Look in this thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=39670) for more information. Several people have had trouble installing it.

Go to Brighthand at http://discussion.brighthand.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64743 they show you how to upgrade the ROM from a CF card, and they have links to the files you need.

I couldn't get the Toshiba download to work, but the CF upgrade worked perfectly.
